Genesee Valley Hunt Parade and Opening Meet @ The Wadsworth Homestead and Main Street
Sep 21 @ 7:30 am – 9:00 am

GVHThe Opening Meet marks the beginning of the formal foxhunting season. Hounds, staff and subscribers traditionally ride up Geneseo’s Main Street at 7:30 AM from the Wadsworth Homestead to the Hartford House at the north end, and off into the countryside from there. The sight of so many riders of all ages and sound of so many hooves on the pavement are stirring. (Valley Horses by Sally Fox, Livingston County News, September 18, 2014)

This is the 143rd season of the Genesee Valley Hunt.
