Cummings soulful and explosive approach to blues and rock caught the attention of Blind Pig Records, which signed him to a multi-album deal. Geneseo Symphony Orchestra and Festival Chorus @ Wadsworth Auditorium
Nov 24 @ 3:00 pm

Please join the combined forces of the Geneseo Symphony Orchestra, the Geneseo Wind Ensemble, and the Geneseo Festival Singers in their concert, “Deep Field.” Opening with “Jupiter” from Gustav Holst’s famed “Planets,” our exploration through space continues with a piece inspired (and accompanied) by images from the NASA Hubble telescope, Eric Whitacre’s “Deep Field.” Bring your smartphones, as there’s an interactive app for the audience to play a part in the performance! Bruckner’s “Te Deum” is our second half of the performance, one of the richest exclamations of thanksgiving from the Romantic era.
