Geneseo provides residents and visitors with a wide variety of activities that appeal to all ages and interests. Please browse through our many events, which we attempt to keep as current as possible. Our sister website, www.geneseony.org, contains schedules of governmental organizations and meetings.

Creative Writing Workshop with Sabra Badratti
• Designed for adults
• Each participant will craft a short story.
• Begins on Saturday January 12
• Meets from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Continues every other Saturday though March 23rd.

Interested yarn-crafters of all ages and levels are invited to join us in the library’s downstairs community room (accessible by elevator). Beginners are welcome and supplies and instruction are available.

Books & Babies is a lap-sit program designed to introduce children (6 months – 2 years of age) to language and early literacy. Babies sit with their caregivers and model the activities presented through simple finger plays, songs, stories and nursery rhymes. Registration is required and is open now.

Dr. Chris Annala from the SUNY Geneseo School of Business will present about how economics and the environment intersect. This casual and fun event will be a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the topic! There will be light refreshments.

The Toddler Tales program is a blend of Books & Babies and Preschool Storytime activities. A variety of stories are combined with songs, rhymes, finger plays, crafts and free play. This program is appropriate for children ages 2-3 years old. Registration is required.
