Creative Doors for Writers @ Wadsworth Library

This class will explore a variety of creative methods to open doors to the creative writing process. Participants will engage in guided meditation, simple mask making, gentle movement and exploratory writing. Dress comfortably, bring your journal, favorite writing tools and your curiosity! A 4.5 hour guided food and craft beverage tour featuring producers around Conesus Lake, the westernmost Finger Lake. Arrive at Deer Run Winery at 10:30 am for your first sampling before you depart on a 26-passenger air-conditioned bus equipped with wi-fi and restroom.

Summer Storytime: Sing, Sign, and Play @ Wadsworth Library

Tuesdays @ 10:00 am
July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and August 6

This six-week session is recommended for babies 6-24 months old and their caregivers. Each class is 30 minutes long and has a weekly theme. We will use music, books, and playful activities to help hearing babies and adults learn simple ASL signs while having fun. This class will be led by certified Baby Signing Time instructor Linda Schmackpfeffer. Registration is required. Sign-up begins June 1st. Sponsored by Friends of Wadsworth Library.

Finger Lakes West Dine & Drinks Fest @ Deer Run Winery

Deer Run Winery will be joined by more than 20 NY food and craft beverage producers sampling their finest products. Enjoy food and drink samples (products available for sale so if you try it and you like it, you can buy it), live music and a keepsake tasting glass. Limited seating will be available under the tent, so you may want to bring a lawn chair for the concert. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, $10 for designated drivers.

Guests must be 21 years of age to enter the tasting tent.
