Major General James S. Wadsworth’s daughter, Elizabeth, led an interesting life both in Geneseso and abroad. The presentation will cover her youth and the loss of her father; her first marriage and life in France; her second marriage and subsequent life between Ireland and England (Lady Barrymore); her two daughters’ upbringing and the society around them.

Sign-up now for a one-hour session by calling (585) 243-0440 or stop in the library. The tutor is available on Mondays from 6-8 PM. The dates are February 3, March 2, April 6, May 4, and June 1. This program is funded by a Workforce Development Grant from Pioneer Library System awarded to Livingston County Libraries.

Photographer Char Szabo-Perricelli & David Mack-Hardiman, Director of the Museum of disABILITY History recently released their new book Colony Chronicles. “The cryptic history of the Craig Colony has been brought to life through rich history and eclectic photographs. A storytime event for the school age crowd! We meet one Thursday afternoon each month from 3:30-4:30 pm. We’ll enjoy picture books, chapter books, literacy, art, and science activities, all for the school age crowd! Open to children in K-3rd grade. Registration is not required. Original schedule below:

Attic Treasures Sale @ Livingston County Historical Society Museum

Shop for quality and vintage items on the grounds of the Livingston County Museum. LCHS accepts quality donations, including antique, vintage, and unique items, and then sells these items on the grounds of the Livingston County Museum as a fundraiser (no clothing, appliances, or plastic toys).  Please deliver your items to the museum or call 243-9147 or email lchistory@frontier.com to make alternate arrangements.   No early birds please.
