Geneseo provides residents and visitors with a wide variety of activities that appeal to all ages and interests. Please browse through our many events, which we attempt to keep as current as possible. Our sister website, www.geneseony.org, contains schedules of governmental organizations and meetings.

Please join us for a Winter-Themed Storytime for children and their caregivers!
• There will be refreshments, games, and crafts at this free event open to all members of the community.
• Any age is welcome, though these stories are geared toward the under-10 age group (appropriate for preschoolers).
• Storytime will be performed by members of the Young Children’s Council, and will take place in the Teacher Education Resource Center on the lower level of Milne Library.
Sponsored by the Young Children’s Council and students from the School of Education.
Books & Babies is a lap-sit program designed to introduce children (6 months – 2 years of age) to language and early literacy. Babies sit with their caregivers and model the activities presented through simple finger plays, songs, stories and nursery rhymes. Registration is required and is open now.

The Toddler Tales program is a blend of Books & Babies and Preschool Storytime activities. A variety of stories are combined with songs, rhymes, finger plays, crafts and free play. This program is appropriate for children ages 2-3 years old. Registration is required.

Will Wadsworth, principal of the Wadsworth Homestead business, delivers the 212-year history of a Livingston County Landmark. The Homestead was the Wadsworth family residence that has been preserved in its original state and is now open to the public as an event center. The Wadsworth family were early pioneer settlers in the region and have played a significant role in local and national history. This program is co-sponsored with the Association for the Preservation of Geneseo.
• Additional parking available in church lot next door.
• Free and open to the public.
