Annual Winter Fest & Soup Contest @ The Beachcomber of Conesus Lake

Join the Beachcomber of Conesus for Winter Fest! They will be opening for a day of games and their annual Soup Contest – no registration necessary, just bring your soup in a crockpot to enter! So beat the winter blues and bring your a-game for a chance to win prizes and bragging rights.
• Entry charge is $2 per person.
• All proceeds will be donated to The Vincent House.

The play centers around two retired vaudville performers who worked together for over forty years, but haven’t spoken in over a decade. Will they reunite for one last performance or will old disagreements keep them apart? The script is clever, fun and absolutely hilarious!

Auditions for THE SUNSHINE BOYS will be held at York Central School on Monday, December 16 at 7:00 PM. Nothing to prepare ahead of time.

Major General James S. Wadsworth’s daughter, Elizabeth, led an interesting life both in Geneseso and abroad. The presentation will cover her youth and the loss of her father; her first marriage and life in France; her second marriage and subsequent life between Ireland and England (Lady Barrymore); her two daughters’ upbringing and the society around them.

LCHS accepts quality donations, including antique, vintage, and unique items, and then sells these items on the grounds of the Livingston County Museum as a fundraiser (no clothing, appliances, or plastic toys).  Please deliver your items to the museum or call 243-9147 or email lchistory@frontier.com to make alternate arrangements.   No early birds please.
