Bookend Painting – Decorate Your Library! @ Wadsworth Library

Give Wadsworth Library’s books something cool to lean on! Painted bookends will be displayed throughout the library. All materials provided. Space is limited. Open to ages 12 & up. Registration will begin on Monday, February 10. Please call the library at (585) 243-0440 or stop in to register.

Winter Storytime Programs: Books & Babies @ Wadsworth Library
Mar 10 @ 10:00 am – 10:30 am

Books & Babies is a lap-sit program designed to introduce children (6 months – 2 years of age) to language and early literacy. Babies sit with their caregivers and model the activities presented through simple finger plays, songs, stories and nursery rhymes. Registration is required and is open now.

Winter Storytime Programs: Toddler Tales @ Wadsworth Library

children-bannerThe Toddler Tales program is a blend of Books & Babies and Preschool Storytime activities. A variety of stories are combined with songs, rhymes, finger plays, crafts and free play. This program is appropriate for children ages 2-3 years old. Registration is required.

George Rollie Adams will read from, discuss, and sign copies of his award-winning historical novel South of Little Rock, a powerful story of race, family, and small town life in the South in the 1950s. A native of southern Arkansas, Adams grew up in a town much like the one he writes about in the novel. He has also lived in New Orleans and Nashville. Currently he is president and CEO emeritus of the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York. His South of Little Rock has received four independent publishing awards for regional and social issues fiction.
