The Geneseo United Methodist Women present a Spring Cleaning / Overstock BAZAAR Sale, featuring a variety of high-quality, unique, hand-made crafts, all at 25% off the marked prices!

In order to observe social distancing, we will limit the number of people entering at one time, and face masks will be required.
Credit & debit cards are accepted for your convenience. Our building is completely accessible with free off-street parking.
The Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup service project was created by Rotary Districts along the Great Lakes. Geneseo’s Rotary is sponsoring this Earth Week Cleanup on Saturday, April 24:
• Long Point Park from 10 AM-12 Noon
• Staging area is the Museum / Garden Club building west of the Kiwanis BBQ pit
• Each participant is encouraged to bring gloves and a rake
Clean up activities include removing leaves and walnuts from the pavilion and other picnic areas; cleaning and painting grills; cleaning debris from beach and outdoor shower area; and picking up sticks and debris throughout the park. More at this link and Facebook.

Join historian and journalist David Mould on Monday, April 26 at 6 pm for a journey to borders, both real and imagined. In his latest book on travel, history and culture, Postcards from the Borderlands, David explores the meaning of borders. Our plan (hope) is to offer a socially distanced event by using a preregistration method to stagger groups during the day.

This walk takes place on trails that will be muddy and includes hiking through fields and over uneven surfaces. The hike features working agricultural fields and a forest along the Genesee River that is host to a spectacular sea of Common Bluebell flowers.*
